How many players can play Invokyr?

The current Early Access answer is up to 6 players, and that number includes you. The English store page says both “a group of 6 players” and “online co-op with up to 6 players.” Other language pages often say “up to 5 friends,” which is the same cap.

Three Invokyr players named Jenie, Cesar, and Enrique stand around an open board-game case on a lace-covered table.

I compared the English short description with the research notes on the Traditional Chinese, Korean, German, Spanish, Russian, and Turkish store text. Those pages say five friends. Adding yourself makes six. The fight on forums is mostly that arithmetic, plus an older Demo limit.

The numbers, by source

Use the Early Access row for the game you buy today. The Demo row is historical. On October 16, 2026 a search of Steam apps named Invokyr returned 3883570 and playtest 4027750, not a live demo app.

Version	Count	Where it comes from
Early Access, app 3883570	1 to 6	English Steam page, checked 2026-10-16
Same page, other languages	You plus 5 friends	Research notes on 12 store languages
Demo period	4 or 5	Player posts, including Sept 12, 2026: a fifth slot failed
Old media kit	Up to 4	Out-of-date press text, not the live store page

Solo, and why “more players” is not a setting

Single-player is a listed category. You do not need five friends online to start a board. There is no store option for more than 6, and V0.44.11 does not add a seventh slot.

Turkish “kaç kişilik” and Traditional Chinese “最多幾個人” questions are this same cap. The Turkish and Traditional Chinese pages on this site point back here.
