Crashes, errors, and saves

If the game closes or a save disappears, split the problem. A mid-board death deletes the run on purpose, according to the developer FAQ notes. A crash is a defect. Logs are opened from Options, not from a folder path I am willing to invent.

I looked for a published save directory and did not find one I could re-read on October 16. The FAQ note I do have says Options, then Open Logs, produces Player.log and Player-prev.log. That is the path I will tell you to use. Unity and IL2CPP come up in that same FAQ as the engine context for errors, which is why a log is more useful than a reinstall slogan.

Saves that vanished on purpose

The run writes when a board ends. Dying during a board deletes that save. Beating the Master Board leaves a safety checkpoint. The shop clock can save you. If your save vanished after a death, that matches the rule, not a corrupted file.

There is no Steam Cloud category on the store page checked October 16, 2026. Do not expect a cloud copy to restore a deleted run.

Crashes and where to send them

Open Options, then Open Logs, and keep Player.log. The developer FAQ points bug reports at the official Discord and a Google form. Those links are on the community page.

Connection freezes after a dropout were called out in V0.44.10. Install that patch, and V0.44.11 after it, before you treat a multiplayer lock as a new crash. Single-player crashes still want the log.

  1. Update to V0.44.11 or newer.
  2. Reproduce the crash once.
  3. Options, Open Logs, copy Player.log.
  4. Send it to the studio channel rather than to a random “fix” download.
