Items, idols, and the shop
The shop is real enough to be on an official screenshot: a wooden SHOP sign in the library. What you can buy is only partly documented. The developer FAQ notes name a clock that saves you from a lost run. They also say there are no microtransactions.

I looked at the library screenshot and found the shop sign under the chained cabinets, next to the circular puzzle door. That is the room. I then refused to invent a price list. The clock is the only purchase whose effect I can repeat from the FAQ notes.
Shop, clock, and what is not for sale
No microtransactions is a developer FAQ line recorded in the research. The Steam page is a paid Early Access game, not a free item shop. Family Sharing is a category. A cash shop is not.
The clock is bought in the in-game shop and can save you, per those FAQ notes. I do not have its price in the game’s own currency. I will not convert that into dollars.
Idols, and the EMG search
Early Access announcements summarized in the research mention cursed idols and more idols on the roadmap. The October 9 bedroom post connects Henry’s death to an idol. That is one player’s reading of a letter, not a catalog.
Searches for an “EMG item” do not match a name on the store page or in the patch titles I listed. I am not assigning EMG to a gadget. If it is an abbreviation from a clip, it needs a screenshot before it becomes an entry.
